Coverage across Brussels, Wallonia and Flanders — one single travel charge

Chauffitherm is based on Rue Kasterlinden, in Berchem-Sainte-Agathe, to the west of Brussels. That is where all our jobs start from: the nineteen municipalities of the Brussels-Capital Region, Wallonia and Flanders. No Belgian municipality is excluded outright. If yours is not in the lists below, one call is enough to confirm that we travel there.

Travel is charged at €35, and that amount does not move: the same two streets from the workshop and a hundred kilometres away, the same on a Tuesday morning, a Sunday evening or a public holiday. A mileage table turns every call into a negotiation, and nobody wants to negotiate when the boiler has stopped in midwinter. A single figure, stated before we set off, avoids nasty surprises on the invoice.

That flat charge covers the journey, not the work. The diagnosis, the labour and any parts are counted separately and stated before work begins. The detail is published on the prices page.

€35 travel charge, everywhere

No mileage bands, no surcharge depending on the municipality. The same flat charge whether you are in Schaerbeek, Wavre or Leuven.

7 days a week, 24 hours a day, public holidays included

Weekend, evening, night or public holiday: travel stays at €35. A €30 surcharge applies to the work itself outside business hours, and it is stated before we set off.

Our main area. Based in Berchem-Sainte-Agathe, we cover all nineteen Brussels municipalities and come out the same day in the vast majority of cases.

Brussels is above all older building stock: townhouses divided into flats, tenement blocks, duplexes under the roof. You mostly find wall-hung gas boilers there, tucked into a kitchen, a bathroom or a shared cellar, with narrow access and flues shared between several homes. Hence the flue check before any installation and the attention paid to ventilation. It is also where heating circuits and sanitary risers silt up fastest.

Wallonia

Callout within the day

We travel regularly to Walloon Brabant and the neighbouring provinces, at the same travel charge as in Brussels.

Walloon Brabant and the neighbouring provinces are mostly detached family homes: more volume to heat, longer circuits, sometimes a separate hot water cylinder and a dedicated plant room. Replacing a boiler there is more often a chance to rethink the whole circuit than to swap a single appliance. The journey is longer than in Brussels, but the invoice does not move: travel stays at €35.

Flanders

Callout within the day

Flemish Brabant, the Brussels periphery and the Antwerp area. We speak French, Dutch and English on site.

The Brussels periphery and Flemish Brabant mix both profiles: detached houses with a plant room and newer flats fitted with compact wall-hung boilers. Conversations on the phone and on site, quotes and the service certificate are handled in Dutch, French or English alike, at no extra cost. Here too, travel is €35 and the time slot is agreed on the phone.

How a job outside Brussels works

Nothing changes except the length of the journey. The procedure is exactly the same in Nivelles, Mechelen or Saint-Gilles: you call, we ask a few questions to identify the appliance and the symptom, we give you a time slot and the price, then we come.

The slot is given when you book, not afterwards. If the traffic or a previous job pushes it back, we let you know by phone. That is the only promise that holds at this distance: a stated time, and information as soon as it moves.

Do you work in my municipality?

Very probably. We cover the nineteen municipalities of Brussels-Capital, Wallonia and Flanders. The lists on this page are not exhaustive: they show the municipalities we go to most often. If yours is not there, call 0488 02 77 07.

Does travel cost more if I live far away?

No. Travel is €35, whatever the distance: no mileage table, no surcharge depending on the municipality, whether you are in Schaerbeek or Namur. It is a fixed amount, stated before we set off. Only work outside business hours carries a surcharge, shown on the prices page.

How long does it take you to come to Wallonia?

It depends on the municipality, the time and the traffic. We give a realistic slot when you book and we let you know by phone if it has to move. The target of a callout within two hours applies to emergencies in Brussels, not to the whole country.

Do you work in Dutch and English?

Yes. Conversations on the phone and on site, quotes and the service certificate can be handled in Dutch or English as well as French. It costs nothing extra and does not change how quickly we come.

Do you work outside Belgium?

No. Chauffitherm works only within Belgium: Brussels-Capital, Wallonia and Flanders. We do not travel to Luxembourg, France or the Netherlands.

Is there a minimum invoice amount?

The €35 travel charge is due as soon as we come out, even if the visit is limited to a diagnosis. Labour and any parts are added to that and stated before the work begins.
