Pages announcing “up to so many euros in grants” age badly. Rates are revised, schemes are suspended, deadlines pass. A wrong figure on a page about public support can lead you to commit to work on the strength of a promise that no longer exists.
We would rather tell you where each scheme stands, what conditions apply, and send you straight to the authority that decides. It is less eye-catching, but it is what spares you a nasty surprise.
Chauffitherm works in all three Regions. The scheme that applies to you is the one for the place where the property is, not the one for your tax residence.
RENOLUTION grants
The official portal states that, to date, no government decision has been taken regarding any new forms of financial support for renovation. No application can be submitted for invoices dated 2025 or 2026. In addition, the grant for installing a gas condensing boiler was abolished in the Brussels Region on 1 January 2023: that type of appliance no longer qualifies for support, even when the scheme was running.

A temporary support scheme has been in force since 14 February 2025. All “works” grant applications, final invoice included, must be submitted by 30 September 2026 at the latest. That scheme ends on that date and a new arrangement is due to succeed it from 1 October 2026, the terms of which have not yet been published. The Walloon scheme requires a prior energy audit and reserves the highest amounts for the lowest-income households.

The scheme remains open but was reformed on 1 March 2026, with several amounts revised downwards, in particular for heat pumps and heat pump water heaters. The application is made online once the work is finished, on production of the final invoice. The official simulator gives the amount matching your situation and your income category.
Check on vlaanderen.beThe links above point to the authorities' official websites. They decide whether a grant is awarded, not the installer. Chauffitherm does not submit any application on your behalf and receives no grant in your name.

An invoice in the name of Chauffitherm, with the company number, the date, the address of the work and a breakdown of labour and materials. It is the central document in any grant application.
Make, model, reference and efficiency characteristics of the equipment fitted. The authorities check that the appliance meets the required performance threshold.
The official document handed over on site at the end of the visit. It is used by your insurer, and some schemes ask for it too.
The quote separates labour, materials and travel. So you know what would be eligible, where applicable, before committing to anything.
One point to watch: several schemes, particularly for heat pumps, require the installation to be carried out by an installer holding a specific certification. Ask us to confirm this before you order the equipment, not after it has been fitted.

No. The application is personal and is submitted to the regional authority. We provide the technical documents and the compliant invoice your application needs, but we submit nothing in your name and receive no grant on your behalf.
For several schemes, particularly heat pumps, the Regions require the work to be carried out by an installer holding a specific certification. That is a condition of the award, not a formality. Ask us before ordering the equipment: we will tell you plainly what we can take on.
It depends on the scheme, and this is where many applications come unstuck. Some schemes are applied for after the work, on the final invoice; others require a prior step, such as an energy audit. Check the exact order on your Region's website before starting the job.
In all three Regions, yes: amounts are adjusted according to income categories, with the most modest households receiving the highest support. The age of the building also counts in several schemes.
